Sub-variant fixtures are staged but their graphics colour divergences aren't fully wired. Notably the DOS 0.9 Beta ships a shifted master palette at
cls = (1, 0, 0x07, 0xFE, 0x08, 0x00)vs the canonical... 0x09 ..., the most structurally distinct sub-variant. See docs/sources/dos-en-beta.md.
